1. Do you need experience to become a holiday resort entertainer?
Not necessarily. Some positions require prior experience, such as:
Entertainment Manager
Resort Representative
Specialized Sports or Fitness Entertainer
Other positions are open to beginners, provided you have:
Strong interpersonal skills
Energy and a positive mindset
A sense of service and creativity
A willingness to learn and grow
A real ability to work as part of a team
Confidence in speaking
Punctuality and reliability

2. Which languages are required to work as an entertainer?
A good level of French is strongly recommended, especially for direct French guest contact.
Speaking additional languages such as Spanish or German is a plus.
3. What is the role of a Travelanim entertainer?
A holiday resort entertainer is responsible for hosting activities for guests and creating a friendly, professional atmosphere.
Depending on the position, you may be:
A Multi-skilled Entertainer (Sports, Fitness, Mini Club, Teens, Choreographer)
A Team Leader
A Resort Representative or Guest Relations Officer

4. Where can I be assigned?
Travelanim works with over 50 partner resorts across more than 30 destinations: Europe, Africa, Indonesia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and more.
5. Can I choose my destination?
No. Assignments depend on:
Your skills and profile
The languages you speak
Your availability period
The needs of partner resorts
Team balance and overall coherence
Our goal is to create harmonious teams where everyone can thrive.
However, after working with us for several seasons, you may be able to express destination preferences.
6. How long does an entertainment season last?
Contracts generally last 5 to 8 months.
Summer season: March/April → October/November
Winter season: November → February/March
Summer reinforcement (July/August): short 2-month contracts, ideal for students or beginners
7. Are food and accommodation provided?
Yes, in most partner resorts.
Conditions may vary depending on the destination, but accommodation and full board are included in almost all cases.
8. How does recruitment at Travelanim work?

9. Will I receive training before departure?
At Travelanim, most entertainers begin their season directly on site.
You benefit from continuous, hands-on training throughout your stay, adapted to your position and missions.
Upon arrival, you are supported by the Entertainment Manager and the local team
You receive briefings, practical advice, and tips to progress quickly and deliver high-quality guest experiences
For selected Entertainment Managers and Representatives, an annual seminar held in February/March prepares them for the upcoming season, encourages best-practice sharing, and strengthens skills before departure.
Each entertainer therefore benefits from practical, on-the-job learning, with personalized support to grow and excel throughout the season.
10. Can I go on season with a friend or as a couple?
You may mention this in your application. Travelanim will do its best, but no guarantee can be given, as assignments depend on resort needs and team balance.
11. Can I return for another season the following year?
Yes. Many entertainers work with us for several years and may progress into supervisory or management positions.
12. What types of contracts and salaries do you offer?
All details (contract type, salary, conditions, insurance, etc.) are clearly and transparently explained during the interview.
